Katina Horton, known as “The Love & Freedom Toxic Relationship Recovery Coach”, began her calling in ministry and computer technology over 25 years ago.
She started off as a church announcing clerk, moved on to coaching and mentoring young ladies as a dance minister, and now, impacts lives through storytelling, styling homes, closets, & wardrobes, organizing, bible teaching, technology and hosting the Valley of Grace podcast. Katina holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration, and a masters degree in Information Technology, and is the mother of two young adult children.
Most women who are not tech savvy, and afraid of technology, find themselves in a vicious cycle of buying more devices and or enlisting the help of others to take care of simple, necessary tasks for them on their computers because they want to avoid the pain and discomfort that it takes to learn something new. Through coaching, and repairing their machines, my mission is to help willing and able women struggling to embrace technology rebuild their confidence so they can walk in freedom, understanding, wisdom, and knowledge, and advance themselves to the next level in their careers, calling, lifestyle, and the Kingdom of God.

I understand how hard it is to rebuild your life after a failed marriage, high-conflict divorce, trauma, narcissistic abuse, and being undervalued , unappreciated, underutilized, and underpaid in the tech industry, and then the workplace in general.
Since 2014, I’ve been on my own resilience journey. After so much trauma, and its effects on my life, I thought I would never regain my confidence to work as a computer technician again.
However, I have finished raising my two kids on my own (I am so proud of the young people they have become). I am the author of eleven books on the subjects of healing, identity, self-worth, trauma, divorce, rebuilding confidence, narcissistic abuse recovery, and navigating toxic relationships.
I have a BS in Business Administration, focused in Management, and a Masters in Information Technology. While these fields may appear unrelated to healing and rebuilding, they’re not.
The same approach to troubleshooting, building, and rebuilding old and new PCs are the same approaches that we use when it comes to troubleshooting and rebuilding confidence through repetition and self-discovery in our hearts, minds, bodies, souls, spirits, and relationships in life.
We must analyze the problem, troubleshoot the different culprits for the source of the problem, implement a plan of solution from the data that troubleshooting has revealed to us, empower ourselves and others, and then in turn impact the other people who are in relationship with us, and affected by the problem.
You can repair your machines. (physical computer + brain + body + soul). You can rebuild your confidence.
It’s not just a cliche.
God is the God of second chances. New beginning. And restorer of all the years that the locusts have eaten.
Be blessed,
Katina
